The Health Benefits of Stand-Up Paddleboarding

It is an ideal sport for cross-training as it brings together legs, back, feet, arms, neck and stomach muscles in a graceful display of core strength and balance.”

What is Stand-Up Paddleboarding?
It is a very stable surfboard that one stands on. A long paddle is used to paddle yourself along in the water at your own pace and experience sea life and landscape that normally cannot be accessed.

What Do I Wear?
We recommend wearing a swim suit or board shorts with a top. You most likely will not end up in the water at all, so once you start paddling around in the sun, you may get warm.

Footwear:  Most people paddle barefoot and are fine. A pair of aquasox or water shoes can be used

Do I Have to Know How to Surf?
Not at all!

Is There a Minimum or Maximum Age or Size to Paddle?
As long as you are in good health there is no reason why you cannot paddle!

What About Weather and Water Conditions?
A light mist in the hot weather is okay for paddling, but no paddling in heavy rain or thunderstorms! We will then reschedule. If in doubt, please call.

Is Gratuity Included?
No, but it is not required. Referrals are always welcome too

What is Your Refund Policy?

Cancellations: We are very flexible with cancellations but appreciate if guests call us up to 48 hours in advance for cancellations.

Rescheduling: We are also flexible on rescheduling but due to demand may not have a slot open within 48 hours of a cancellation
